Seriously..

It is true that nowadays many people are obsessed with
using the internet for playing online games or just to
visit social networking websites.
It is also true that this obsession is unhealthy in many ways.

BUT...

Some people just don't get the point
that the internet benefits us in many other good ways as well.
We're in 21st Century which means that when you need to read news
you don't just have to buy newspaper or listen to the radio.
You can go to the internet or simply on your television.
It also means that you don't have to just follow the tour group
if you want to go traveling because you didn't know what are the
nice places to visit cos there will always be internet for you to
do some research before you plan to go anywhere.
It also means that when you want to watch a movie you don't just
have to go to a DVD rental shop to rent a movie...

I know there's many more examples and i'm just a little annoyed by
how some people in the older generations don't get those points
and reprimand us for always using the internet -.-
And some, simply don't get the point that some homework needs to be done
on the internet or some homework require internet for research.

Oh well, at least for me,
I don't even play games in my mac or through internet
but I love going online to do some research about artists,
books, sewing tutorial, movies... many more.
I always seek help on internet if I have any doubts
when I'm doing my homework and no one is free to help me.
I treat my mac as a tool for many things and also a little space
to do what I like and also to record down my life.
I also hate it when someone just keep staring at your monitor
non-stop just to see what you're doing.
Totally annoying.

I think I'm enough of my rant and this is definitely not applicable to my parents.
