Blinded

I felt worried and upset
that some people at young ages
are already thinking about getting
famous and rich,
getting branded and expensive stuffs,
having to experience things that
are "cool" and "exciting" to them.
Without seek for what is truly worthy,
and they started to lose the sense of identity,
who they are,
and simply think about how they will be able
to look unique and popular to everyone else,
giving up their pride and
trying to please everyone,
afraid of doing what is right
even if they can tell what's right and what's wrong.

I feel very sad when worldly things
blinded some people who only find pleasure
in what they think is comforting to them
without thinking about the consequences.

May God open up their eyes and seek the truth.
