Worth Or Not

Does it mean that when you get the authority
that not everyone can get,
the power and ability to be someone that is important,
means that you're a worthy person,
someone that everyone will respect and think of?

You can posed as someone really important,
but when it's outside that matter,
you're just like a trash thrown aside.

When people need you,
they pick you up again,
like nothing happened in the past.

People changed.
Better or worse, I can't decide.
What I've understand is that human follow
something called
"Reality".
Unless it benefits them or they knew it's
gonna benefits them,
they'll just stick to it like chewing gum.
